Riverview Recipe: Lemon Chess Pie

1 ½ cup sugar

4 eggs

1 tbsp. flour

1 tbsp. corn meal

¼ cup sweet milk

¼ cup melted butter

¼ cup lemon juice

2 tsp. lemon rind


Combine sugar and eggs. Toss together flour and corn meal, add to sugar and eggs. Gradually add milk, butter, lemon juice and rind. Bake in unbaked pie shell for 45-55 minutes at 350 degrees.
