Riverview Recipe: Frozen Peach Salad


3 cups fresh peaches, crushed

2 cups miniature marshmallows

½ cup crushed pineapple, drained

½ cup slivered almonds

½ cup maraschino cherries, quartered

½ tsp. almond extract

½ tsp. salt

2 cups sour cream



  1. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add 1-2 tsp. of cherry juice for color.
  2. Pout into a large baking pan and cover tightly with foil and freeze.
  3. Cut into squares and allow to stand 15 minutes at room temperature before serving.
