Ingredients:
1 stick oleo or butter
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 small package dates (cut in small pieces)
Mix all ingredients together in pan and cook over low heat until it bubbles. Cook 5 minutes longer.
Remove from stove and add:
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. canned coconut
2 c. rice crispies
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Will be thick. Roll in small balls, then roll in powdered sugar. They are ready to eat!
