Riverview Recipe: Chili

Riverview’s Chili

2lbs. ground beef

1 (1lb.) can tomatoes

1 large onion, chopped

½ cup celery, finely chopped

1 tsp. garlic salt

1 tbsp. Worcestershire

¼ tsp. hot sauce

3-4 tbsp. chili powder

2 garlic buds, finely chopped

1 (15 ox.) can kidney beans

1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

salt and pepper to taste


Brown beef. Add onions and celery’ cook 5 minutes more. Add all other ingredients, except beans, and simmer 1 ½ hours/ Add beans and simmer 1 hour longer. Add water for desired consistency.
