Riverview Recipe: Banana Bread

½ c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ c. flour,  sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 c. chopped pecans

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter, sugar and eggs together. Fold in dry ingredients sifted together; add mashed bananas and nuts. Bake in loaf pan 40-45 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
