When we say an “elevated experience,” that includes our cuisine. Our chefs excel at producing mouth-watering Southern cooking, including sizzling catfish and hushpuppies, ribeye steak, homemade soups, luscious pecan pie and bobwhite quail prepared the Riverview Plantation way. We also offer a sizeable stock of beverages, including a wide selection of wines, as well as a fully stocked bar to provide you with top-shelf cocktails of your choice. And our added touch of southern hospitality makes it all taste just that little bit better here on the plantation.

When you stay with us, we will provide you with full meals throughout your day, and we will bend over backwards to ensure we meet any dietary restrictions or necessities – though we ask that you notify us of these when you make your reservations.

Dining In Style

We know that when you’re here, you’re also looking to interact with your group, which may be friends, family, clients, associates, or peers. We have private dining rooms for each group in our main lodge, eight in all. If your group is larger than most, two of our rooms can accommodate up to twenty people. If that wasn’t enough, all the meals we serve there are home cooked with the best southern cuisine you’ll find anywhere else, catering to even the most discerning palate. We pledge you won’t go to bed hungry.

The Lodge and Cottages

While our lands may be pristine and offer a reminder of days gone by, our lodgings are anything but rustic. In fact, Riverview Plantation is proud to provide its guests with resort-level accommodations. Our breathtaking main lodge serves as the center point of your visit and has entertainment and dining facilities to serve groups of all sizes and needs. You’ll not be disappointed with the lavish furnishings and rich textures of the Riverview Main Lodge or the cottages that overlook the beautiful Flint River.

We value your loyalty and have put time and effort into making Riverview both elegant and functionally comfortable so that you get the most out of your stay with us. For example, we understand that not everyone in your group may know one another upon their arrival, so all our guest rooms are single occupancy. It not only gives you your space and privacy, but a haven to retreat to, relax, and recuperate. There is no bunking up or roughing it here – this is truly a refined and cultured version of the hunt.

Quail season is open mid-October through March, however, most of Riverview Plantation’s clientele book a year or two in advance – and the number of hunting guests accepted at one time is limited to 30. Therefore, we recommend that you make your reservations early. We have 49 single rooms in eight cottages available around the main lodge – and every hunter receives their own room.
