It is well with my soul!

How sweet it is! My beloved Georgia Bulldogs finally won a national championship in football after an almost 41-year hiatus. Geez, folks, that’s longer than Moses wandered in the wilderness with the Israelites. It still feels like I’m walking on air. Head Coach, Kirby Smart grew up in Bainbridge, Georgia which is only 17 miles from my house. He is about the age of my two older daughters and spent many a night playing basketball in my side yard. I am SOO proud for him and Stetson Bennett who is another product of South Georgia!

I really don’t have much to say because the above is a mouthful. Hunting season continues to go very well. We have managed to avoid the Omicron virus here, or maybe we have all had it, and are over it.

Just a few thoughts in closing on this short blog from my unusually wired brain:

  1. I have read that the symptoms of Omicron are a feeling of exhaustion and tiredness, kind of like the end of the day of hard work. No wonder the left and liberals fear it!
  2. You might be a redneck if the Blue Book value of your pickup goes up and down depending on how much gas is in it.
  3. Have you ever noticed that the Roman Numerals for 40 are XL.
  4. Lord, please keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth!

I hope that everyone is having a great start to the year 2022!
